Sveti Arhangel Mihailo (2025)
Acrylic painting on canvas 80 x 60 cm.
This still life captures fragments of Slava, the traditional Serbian Orthodox family celebration.
I wanted to capture the warmth of being together, the table as a gathering place for love and celebration, and the quiet presence of prayer and devotion.
For me there is something deeply comforting about these moments, the feeling of home, of belonging, of being gathered around the table as winter slowly approaches.
