Argentina is one of the few countries where someone can tell you, with absolute conviction, that the nation is doomed, then spend the next 40 minutes explaining why it’s the greatest place on Earth. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡· That contradiction isn’t hypocrisy. It’s history. In the early 1900s, Argentina was among the world’s more prosperous countries. Buenos Aires built itself like a European capital. Argentina potencia became part of the national imagination. Then came generations of political upheaval, inflation, devaluations and broken promises. Something remarkable happened to the national character. People learned to improvise. To read the dollar like a weather forecast. To distrust institutions but trust a cousin who knows a guy. To turn a bureaucratic nightmare into a personal challenge. They also developed a particular kind of intimacy. An argument can be affection. A three-hour sobremesa can be therapy. A mate passed around a circle says more about belonging than a hundred introductions. And in Buenos Aires, a conversation about your ex can turn into a full psychological assessment before the coffee arrives. There is a cost to all this adaptability. When everyone gets brilliant at navigating a broken system, fixing the system can become less urgent. And still, the people who leave often spend years trying to recreate the feeling of home somewhere else. That’s the Argentine paradox: you can lose faith in the country’s institutions without losing your love for the country itself. These are cultural patterns, not rules. CΓ³rdoba, Salta, Mendoza and Buenos Aires have their own personalities. AG helps foreigners navigate Argentine residency and citizenship by option. Thinking of making Argentina home? DM AG and tell us your situation. We’ll help you understand your legal options. Argentines: which diagnosis hit a little too close to home? πŸ‘‡ #argentina #ciudadaniaargentina

6 days more for the next episode πŸ™πŸ₯Ί Navier is the Empress of the Eastern Empire. She is praised for her intelligence and innate elegance. Her life as empress is peaceful alongside her husband, Emperor Sovieshu. She does not love Sovieshu romantically but regards him as both a friend and family member. Having spent much of their childhood together, they share the same goal of creating a great empire. However, her relationship with her husband changes after he brings a runaway slave, Rashta, to the palace and makes her his mistress. This breaks the promise he made to Navier never to take a paramour. Meanwhile, Prince Heinrey is the heir apparent to the throne of the Western Kingdom. His clan harbors a secret: they can transform into birds. After transforming into a bird, he travels to the Eastern Empire's palace as a spy. There, he meets Empress Navier and falls in love with her. Empress Navier of the Eastern Empire receives a divorce notice from her husband, Emperor Sovieshu, who has fallen in love with Rashta. Rather than accepting the divorce, Navier asks for permission to remarry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom. #theremarriedempress #shinminah #leejongsuk #kdrama #fyp
Olga, and you?
A funny video from Kerala shows an unusual passport submitted for renewal. Instead of visa stamps, several pages were filled with handwritten phone numbers, names and household calculations. The passport reportedly belonged to an elderly man who was unaware that a family member had been using it as a personal diary. The unexpected discovery left social media users laughing, with many joking that the passport had become a complete phonebook. The video originally went viral in November 2023 and has resurfaced online. While many found the incident hilarious, others pointed out that a passport is an important official document and should be handled carefully. DISCLAIMER: This is an older viral video. The passport renewal story is based on social media accounts, and the officer's reaction has not been independently confirmed.
