Horror Movies & Games Sequels have the same problem...A dumb complaint people have about horror sequels in both movies and games is them not being as scary as the originals.
People don't want new characters they want the OG characters, but wouldn't that mean that they characters have learned from one movie to the next. Like Sienna @laurenlavera in Terrifier or Ethan in Resident Evil 7 & 8? #horrorpodcasts #horrorgram #horrorcommunity #horrornerds #horror

Yes this. The natural progression of survival horror is to action horror, if you keep the same characters. They learn, they adapt, they become competent.

Personally dead space is a perfect trilogy for me the progression. And the ptsd in the second was so solid imo
