I started Kaleido in 2021 with nothing more than a couple of folding tables and a dream. There was no espresso machine — just one tiny home grinder and hand-poured coffee. I spent my time off from my day job in parking lots around the city, working to build a following that believed in me as much as I did.

Over time, I was able to purchase an espresso machine and invest in a tiny Facebook Marketplace trailer. I refined our specialty drink program and designed a website. Our work eventually paid off when we found our home at Tansy — that’s when everything changed. Within months, business tripled, and I was finally able to hire our first employees. The growth has been incredible, and I’m grateful every day for how far we’ve come.

Asking for help has never come easily to me. I’ve always been the type to do everything myself, sometimes to my own detriment. But I’ve learned, especially since starting Kaleido, that it’s okay to ask for help — sometimes it’s even necessary.

We’ve reached a point in our journey where upgrading our operations is essential: for our team to function well, for our future to be sustainable, and for our customers to be well served. Ultimately, it’s about taking care of our people.

We appreciate anything you can do to support us. Thank you, everyone. 🙏🏼 Link in bio.

I love what you guys do. I’ve driven all the way from Camarillo for a little coffee treat and it’s been worth it. I can’t wait to support in whatever little way I can.
