We did it!!!!! Physically and mentally exhausted our group are all now home from what was one of the best weekends ever. After a couple of random chats a few months ago we grouped as a team (not all knowing each other) and decided to take on the three peaks challenge while raising money for Cancer research UK . Although our challenge changed due to being advised not to climb Ben Nevis by mountain rescue we carry on and choose Helvellyn as our third peak… New challenge of completing all three in sub 12 hrs walk time and we managed 11hrs 20!!! I can honestly say this weekend has been one of the best weekends ever… we’ve laughed, cried, talked, shared experiences and made the most amazing memories with each other… this has certainly been an eye opener to what beautiful places the world has to other and I can’t wait to explore more … challenge completed successfully and we blew our fundraising out the park with over £8000 raised. Thank you to each and everyone who donated it means so much and kept us going…
