Gluten free Cornish pasties 😍 Bake off season is here so I thought I’d try to make a few gluten free recipes alongside it. Gluten free folk shouldn’t have to miss out! The task was for handheld savoury pies, so all the contestants made very different things and this was what I decided to go for - a classic and one that uses my delicious, super easy ultimate shortcrust pastry recipe. I made this one traditionally so with onions (so yay I can’t even eat it) but I provide alternatives like I do in my book as us onion free folk shouldn’t have to miss out either! I’ve made so many gluten free hand pies over the years across my books. Many as my own gluten free takes on Greggs (but better of course!!) - steak bakes, cheese & onion bakes, sausage & bean bakes, chicken bakes, curry puffs & a whole host more 🙌 And... next week is Free From Party Week 🤯 how blooming exciting is that!
