Liron Kroll is a London-based artist working across photography, moving image, animation and immersive installation. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, she reconstructs seemingly ordinary domestic moments into images untethered from a specific time or place, questioning photography's relationship to memory, truth and lived experience. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Saatchi Gallery and Photo London; she received the Responsa Foundation Art Prize in 2024 and was recently shortlisted for the V&A Adobe Creative Residency.
"My works in this exhibition, Between Waters No. 1 and 2, explore a liminal state between past and present, belonging and displacement. As an immigrant, I've spent the past seventeen years building a life in London, all of them living close to Hampstead Heath. The Heath has been a constant throughout that time, offering a sense of freedom and belonging while I found my place in a new country. It has become part of my family's story."
Liron has limited edition archival pigment prints of Between Waters No. 1 and Between Waters No. 2 at Heathbound.
