Memories with Mikel ✨ Our no.23 recalls the last Champions League visit to Prague where he bagged a brace ⏪
Do things that scare you. Noosa Bolt 5k - only 9x shorter than the distance I’m training for. Going into this race half my mind was in the “what am I doing thinking I can compete with some of Aussies best middle distance athletes?!” and the other side of my brain was saying “why would you not put yourself in it? What have you got to lose?” I haven’t raced a 5km on road since I was at high school. This distance scares me even more than a 50km. But that’s exactly why I did it. I wanted to prove to myself that I CAN DO things that terrify me. I had the best time racing in my hometown streets, with the best atmosphere and insane competition. Stoked to get 6th in this stacked field and run a sub 16.40. And take the new ALPHA FLY 4s for a quick spin. Now back to the trails. Thanks for the pics queen 📸👑 @itsjaclee
