Eco-Africa Network was on the ground at the Stakeholder Consultation on the ATEC Smart Induction E-Cook Project, held at Dr. Frempong Hall, CSIR Accra, in partnership with Eco-Lution Consults represented by JOAN AGBENU (R.Nutr), our Deputy Head of Projects.
The conversation centered on ATEC’s plan to deploy up to 100,000 smart induction e-cook stoves to grid-connected households across Accra, Kumasi, Cape Coast, and Tamale moving families away from charcoal toward cleaner, more affordable cooking energy.
Beyond the technology, the impact is personal: reduced indoor air pollution, income freed up from lower fuel costs, and time returned to women who no longer have to spend hours gathering firewood. It’s a project that speaks directly to SDGs 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 13.
Proud to be part of the conversations shaping Ghana’s clean energy transition. 🌍
