Two years ago today, I stepped into CIMB and started what I call my OCTO journey. And what a journey it has been!

Two years of new challenges, unexpected opportunities, impactful projects, late nights, big moments, and even bigger lessons. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of managing projects that I’m incredibly proud of.

I’ve also had the opportunity to experience CIMB beyond my usual role. From emceeing major events and creating social content, to supporting internal brand activations and somewhere along the way becoming a CIMB ICON. All of these little moments have shaped my journey in ways I never expected.

But the biggest lesson has been that a bank is about so much more than managing people’s money. It’s about people, opportunities and moving forward. Being part of CIMB has shown me how the work we do can help people pursue their ambitions, reach their milestones and create what’s next. And being able to contribute to that story, even in my own little way, makes this journey all the more meaningful.

Two years in, I’m still learning. Still creating. Still discovering. And I’m excited to see where this OCTO journey takes me next. Grateful for the people. Proud of the moments. Excited for the chapters ahead. Here’s to many more years with #teamCIMB. 🐙
