Your scapula is meant to MOVE around your ribcage… not stay pinned “back and down” 24/7!! 👏😅

Let’s talk about WHY this matters, especially when it comes to core function!!

Your serratus helps your scapula move around your ribcage, while your intercostals help manage rib movement, expansion, and compression. These muscles work VERY closely together!! 👏

So when we improve serratus function and get the scapula moving better, we can often improve how the ribcage itself moves, too.

And this matters because when the scapula isn’t moving well around the ribcage, it can affect rib positioning, how we manage pressure, and how well we’re able to connect with our deep core.

Which is why some women feel like they’re doing ALL the core work but still struggling with things like:

❌ Lower belly pressure
❌ Diastasis that isn’t improving
❌ Pelvic floor symptoms
❌ Difficulty connecting to their deep core

Your body works TOGETHER!! 👏 If we’re missing mobility and function on the backside, it can make it harder to create better function on the front side, too.

And THIS is why I program movements like this into my workouts. I know sometimes they seem small or even a little “random” 😂 but these intentional foundational pieces play a MASSIVE role in how our bodies move and function as a whole.

Because it’s not just WHAT you’re doing… it’s HOW you’re doing it!! 😤👏

And I want women to understand WHY we’re doing these things so they can take what they’re learning and actually apply it to their strength training and everyday life!!

tis the season.. 🎄

it’s basically christmas already

Ryan Garcia had ONE rule for streamer Kanel Joseph at his private Halloween party -- put the camera away -- so when Kanel kept rolling, KingRy wasn't having it ... and hands started flying! 🫢
