Ever since Memphis, Taylor has been on a BBQ journey. We have yet to find a place that truly matches that high, but we are gonna keep trying 😂
We tried two BBQ spots in NH back to back so we could directly compare:
📌 Smokehaus, Amherst NH
📌The Alamo, Brookline NH
Both establishments are completely different. One is a bit more “fast-casual” and the other is more of a full scale restaurant. They both offer similar things, and we tried to get the same items at each for comparisons-sake.
They were both very good, but I think my personal take away: I preferred The Alamo. The ribs fell right off the bone and the brisket was juicy. You can listen to our lengthy commentary if you want to know the details 😂

The Memphis bbq is soo good! I also learned that I think there are multiple kinds of bbq and I think the Memphis one is my fave so far although I still need to try 2 others 😅

Its funny seeing people call it pit beans or cowboy beans to me becuase I grew up with baked beans that way
