Happy Halloween from Arendelle! ❄️ The girls loved trick or treating this year!! Unfortunately Ozzy decided absolutely no costume once we left the house 😜 even my backups were a no-go at that point but that’s okay - she looks like a princess anyway!! Banks didn’t want the night to end β€œmom, more walk” is all I heard for a while, neither were too bothered by the rain and both girls got their fair share of sweet treats. Had a blast celebrating with our neighbor friends too!! So many festive snacks/apps/drinks/treats. Holidays as parents is so much fun. ☺️
πŸŽ„ IT’S TIME! πŸŽ„ The Christmas countdown has officially begun… and this year I have a mission! πŸ˜‚ As a mum, I have decided that by 1st December the house will be deep cleaned, the Christmas decorations will be up, the cards will be written, the presents will be sorted and everything will be looking fabulously festive. ✨ Why, you ask? Because this December I want to actually ENJOY Christmas rather than spend the entire month running around like a headless reindeer, wondering where I’ve put everything! 🀣 I want cosy evenings, Christmas films, festive treats and time to make memories… not a never-ending to-do list. So, Operation Christmas Organisation starts TODAY! Who’s with me? Or am I completely delusional? πŸ˜‚πŸŽ…πŸΌβ€οΈ #itstime #christmas #christmasiscoming

He beat cancer. We just never imagined we’d still have to say goodbye. πŸ’” These last four months, we fought so hard for our baby. Through the diagnosis, amputation, clinical trial, recovery, and all the highs and lows in between. And he did it. Our boy beat cancer. The trial worked. We could breathe again.. We truly thought we had more time. But after everything his body had endured, the weight and strain on his remaining legs became too much. And after fighting so hard to keep him here, we were faced with the most heartbreaking decision of our lives. Letting him rest when all we wanted was more time. What makes me so incredibly proud is knowing his fight was bigger than us. Through his clinical trial, he contributed to research that may help other dogs and families facing the same diagnosis. Our boy left a legacy, and I hope one day another family gets the extra time we so desperately wished for. But selfishly, I wanted more ordinary days. More moments like these. More of the love, comfort, and protection that he gave us so effortlessly. The house feels painfully empty without him. I still look for him everywhere. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to a world where he’s not waiting for me. My sweet boy, I would choose you a thousand times over. Every appointment, every sleepless night, every hard decision. You were worth all of it.. You took a part of me with you..and I will spend forever missing you. πŸ’›#rottweiler #dogmom #dogsofinstagram #heartbreak
Any interest in roses? I convinced my son to film a quick garden tour for you. Right on Melbourne Cup day the roses go bonkers. I like to say β€˜this is the garden that friendship built’ as we started with a bare sheep (and Emu!) paddock, everything I planted from my childhood Sydney home turned up its toes down in my marital home in Victoria, so fellow garden loving friends offered me little things from their gardens, I asked loads of stupid questions and now the sheep paddock is going gangbusters. I promise, you’ll never be stuck for conversation if you show even the vaguest interest in Mother Nature, ain’t she pretty! #gardenlovers #roses #countrygarden
