Juturna - Circa Survive - Equal Vision Records / Litmus Music, 2005

released in April of 2005 after Anthony Green’s departure with Saosin, Juturna is Circa Survive’s debut album and was major staple in the post hardcore / emo scene at the time, and yet is still being praised (deserved). This album is so beautifully written and produced. The sound that comes from the album is so ethereal and it fits in very well with Anthony’s vocals and screams. The songs themselves all have a pretty dark tone to it and from start to finish it feels like one huge mountain if that makes sense ?!? the drums on this album are top tier and the fills are creative as shit!! kinda mad they dont have we’re all thieves on ig 😒 love this band and i will be posting “on letting go” soon 🥳
