In the UK, we’ve got a habit. Someone does well, and the knives come out. Tall poppy syndrome. I see it in the veteran community and the outdoor industry. I’ve probably been guilty of it myself. Building @thrudark , I’ve heard every version: β€œToo expensive.” β€œToo many influencers.” β€œLost its roots.” Here’s my answer. Price. Kit that works at 8,000 metres isn’t cheap to make. We’d rather build it right than build it cheap. Creators. Yes, we work with them. Climbers, adventurers, fighters, veterans. People who put the miles in. You can rent reach with paid ads. We’d rather earn it… Roots. We were built by two blokes who did the job, and we still test kit where it matters. And together with our community and Mission Everest, we’ve raised over Β£460,000 for veterans’ and children’s charities. Criticism keeps you honest. But nobody gets lifted up by tearing someone else down. β€œYou will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.” Try not to be a dog. DBAC. Love many. Trust few. Who’s someone in your world quietly putting the miles in? Tag them below. They might just get some kit… #Leadership #Veterans #Outdoors #DBAC

Some days in the wild are ordinary. And then, suddenly, they become unforgettable. β€οΈπŸ† Today, with my guest @kalixdiaz our eyes filled with tears of joy as we watched a cheetah mother bring her five tiny cubs into view. A moment so precious that words could hardly describe what my heart was feeling. She is KM239FC1 (the daughter of Harriet), one of Serengeti’s legendary supermothers Now, all I can do is pray that these little lives survive the many challenges of the wild. May she be as strong as her mother, and may these tiny ones grow up to roam the endless plains of the Serengeti. Sometimes, the wild gives us more than a sighting. It gives us a reason to hope. πŸ†β€οΈ NB: Seen by a guide told ny a photographer #cheetah #entaraexperiences #rufinatheguidephotography
