Chance Operations: Louie Isaaman-Jones
‘Pendant’, 2026
Cast pewter, steel gauze, steel ball chain
220 x 220 mm
Not for sale
Foregoing the prescriptive hand of the metalworker, Louie Isaaman-Jones allows molten metal to pool, fracture, overlap, break and recombine with gauze.
The resultant disc structure resists the properties we might associate with metal: durability and density. Its uneven terrain suggests a fleeting moment between becoming and unbecoming – a suspense articulated by its steel ball chain.
On view at ALL PROJECTS: 10–24 September
