THE CREW BEHIND THE DWELLING
A movie is only as good as the people who make it, and I'm really excited about the group coming together to make The Dwelling.
Like every member of the Astronomic Team, the cast and crew on The Dwelling are some of the most creative people I've ever worked with. They're people who go the extra mile because they want to. That's the kind of crew I want to make movies with.
Bobby Canipe Jr. - Writer, Director & "A" Camera
I'll be writing and directing The Dwelling while operating "A" Camera and being involved in just about every aspect of the production.
Brady Daley - "B" Camera, SFX Assistant & On-Set Producer
Brady is one of the most dependable and knowledgeable people I know. He'll be operating "B" Camera, assisting with SFX and helping keep everything moving.
Anna Clary - Assistant Director
The Dwelling will be Anna's first time working behind the camera. She has an eye for detail, great communication skills and a willingness to learn. I'm excited to see her take on this new role.
Shane Rittersbach - SFX
Shane created our EC Comics-inspired artwork and will be handling the practical effects, including props, blood, body parts, deaths and all the nasty stuff we'll need in the woods.
Jessie Seitz - Original Monster Design
Jessie will be bringing our creature to life physically on set. This is my first time working with her, and I can't wait to see what she does.
Devon Tuttle - Audio
Devon is a long-time musician and regular part of Astronomic Studios. He learned production audio on Bloody Bones and has quickly become our go-to audio guy.
Mel Heflin - Script Supervisor, PA & Chef
Mel wasn't originally part of the project, but the cast and crew wanted her brought on. She's taking on multiple jobs, including Script Supervisor, PA and, of course, Chef.
That's the entire core crew. Seven people making a feature-length movie, with a lot of different jobs between us.
I'm incredibly proud of the people we've assembled for this movie. These are the kind of people you want beside you when you're heading into the woods to make a movie.
