23 days agoWe’ll host the 2027 ISA SUP Championship. Hilton Head Island is a world class destination. We have sprint distance and tech racing and a professional livestream. September 17-19. Let’s go!
a month ago😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 what a joke... You care only about surf and nothing else... Let sup evolve and stop trying to limit it...
a month agoAnd then what? We will have to spend money to compete for a 2027 competition that also won’t happen? 😂 The race and surf comp fees are enormous just to qualify for worlds and then you keep pushing athletes off year after year. What a shameful disappointment and disgrace to all water athletes. #boycott
a month agoI do not understand why everyone is so mad. It’s not like ISA pays any of us to compete. if anything, it’s good, it saves us all money we need this year. Your lives will all be fine without an ISA event. Why would they make an event for us if everyone just going to complain? Everyone complained last year too… not enough time to prepare blah blah blah, if you are actually a world title contender, you are always ready to go.
a month agoOur sport and its athletes deserve respect. SUP has always been the last sport on ISAs radar. It is so unfortunate that a sport that has had a boom in growth the last 10 years instead of being nourished and respected has been dimmed and discarded. The sport deserves better. Us athletes deserve better. The ISA worlds every year has been confirmed the month before; there has never been proper planning so that us athletes can prepare. This is very unfortunate. Why fight in courts of arbitration for a sport you don’t want?
a month agoThe day ISA looses SUP to ICF is gonna be the day we have a real Olympic process! ISA has become a self regulated corporate sports entity that does not care for athletes as much as it does for endorsements ! The fact that they used social media to announce something like this is shameless and disrespectful ! It shows their lack of knowledge and respect for our division! It's time to stand up !!!🔥
a month agoI beg to differ, as I have never seen any respect shown to the athletes. For the 2025 event, the ISA announced the celebration just 40 days before it was set to take place in El Salvador. There has never been any concern about notifying us at least six months in advance. This shows a lack of respect for the athletes and the federations.
