The Joker stays undefeated in the iconic villain conversation 😭

This is basically the definitive “who’s more iconic” matchup between DC and Marvel’s most recognizable antagonists. The Joker has been Batman’s arch-nemesis since 1940 and remains one of the most culturally dominant villains in comic book history, appearing across comics, films, television, and merchandise for over 80 years. The Green Goblin, Spider-Man’s primary antagonist, debuted in 1964 and has had significant cultural moments, particularly through Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and recent MCU appearances. Both characters have transcended their source material, but the Joker’s presence in pop culture, from The Dark Knight’s Oscar-winning performance to countless adaptations and reimaginings, gives him an edge in sheer cultural penetration and recognition across generations.

🌙🌙 @broadwayfocus 🍎 One bite of the apple, and Shirley MacLaine (Eve) is feeling the effects in the “Garden of Eden Ballet” from CAN-CAN (1960). Marc Wilder (Adam) can’t resist temptation either! 💃✨
