Interior Design Studio in New York

As the seasons change, so does the table. Often, it’s simply a matter of layering in a little texture, warmth, and a few thoughtful details to make a room feel ready for what’s next.

Our Massachusetts project taught us that lesson at full scale. A brand new build gave us the cleanest possible slate, and our job became about warming it: fiber texture, nubby wool, sculptural ceramics, delicate plants, stone in every earthy undertone we could find, until the sharpness of new construction started to feel lived in.

We designed this the way we design everything, passing ideas back and forth until neither of us remembers whose came first. This is one of the projects we’re proudest of, not because of any single choice, but because it feels this lived in.
