for the past 3 years I’ve felt really compelled to visit Texas, specifically Dallas. i never knew why other than because I love art and wanted to visit the bishop arts district. but as it turns out, I found out this year that my grandpa was a bracero specifically stationed there. i had the most incredible solo trip rediscovering my roots & pushing myself to embrace solitude. it felt like a coming home moment.
