Dear Affinity Team, First, thank you for creating such powerful and intuitive creative software. As a visual identity designer, I rely on Affinity Designer in my daily workflow. However, the lack of native Right-to-Left (RTL) text engine support and complex script shaping for Arabic makes working with typography very challenging for millions of designers in the Middle East and globally. Right now, Arabic text appears with disconnected and reversed letters, forcing us to use external workarounds or switch to other applications just to manage typography. Following Canva's acquisition of Serif, we are hopeful that native RTL support will finally be prioritized. Full Arabic text support—including proper letter connectivity, diacritics, and OpenType feature handling—would make Affinity the absolute go-to suit for designers across the region. Hi Affinity Team, I’ve been reporting an important issue with Kannada Unicode font support in Affinity for nearly 1 year, but unfortunately, there has still been no proper update or fix. Kannada Unicode text often breaks and renders incorrectly, especially with character combinations. This makes Affinity difficult to use for professional Kannada-language design work. Software like Adobe and CorelDRAW already supports Kannada Unicode properly. Please fix this issue in Affinity as soon as possible. I’ve contacted your team multiple times through media/contact channels, but I’m still waiting for a proper response. Please look into this issue seriously and let me know the current status and expected timeline for a fix. Thank you.

Hello... I'm using your app on my iPad and it's fantastic! I've benefited from it immensely and it's truly been a lifesaver... but there's a major problem... unfortunately, it doesn't support Arabic, even though Arabs are now turning to affinity Designer 2 instead of some paid programs... I really hope you'll add Arabic writing support to the app...
