🚨 New Watch Alert 🚨

I admit that I rarely get excited about new watch releases these days. But then there are vintage Seiko divers. 😍 The Tuna has long been on my list of watches I'd like to own. The modern versions don't really interest me, and the vintage automatic ones are out of my preferred price range. That's why the 7549-7010 'Tuna Can' is the perfect goldielocks choice for me.

Introduced in 1978, the watch is powered by the robust 7549 movement (beefed-up version of the 7548). At 47mm across, it's the most wearable version of vintage Tunas (some don't consider it a Tuna because it doesn't have the monocoque front-loading design of the original Tunas, but it's a Tuna to me). This particular example rolled out of the assembly line in 1983, and thanks to @a.1.watch and his attention to detail, it runs like new. If you're thinking of getting a vintage Seiko, just skip the eBay gambles and go straight to him. He knows Seiko and will make sure every piece is meticulously refurbished before sold. Highly recommended.

While this piece looks awesome on the original Seiko flat vent rubber strap, I also wanted to pair it with the @anchorstrapco deployant system for some #outriderolive. Swipe to see the results.
