Through a new partnership with Upstate Medical University, #SyracuseU students are gaining valuable experience in clinical care and research at the Golisano Center for Special Needs.

Undergraduate students now have the opportunity to work directly with staff in one of four areas, gaining experience as the next generation of behavioral and medical caretakers.

As an ER physician who has done research focused on improving care for children with special healthcare needs, a mama of a child diagnosed with autism, AND a Syracuse alum — I can’t tell you how much I LOVE this combination! 🧡🍊 So excited to see this kind of work happening and to be part of a community that’s committed to making healthcare more accessible, compassionate, and inclusive for every child.
