My Name Is Khan (2010)

directed by Karan Johar and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Jimmy Sheirgill, follows Rizwan Khan, a Muslim man with Asperger’s syndrome who moves to the United States and falls in love with Mandira. They build a life together, but their happiness is shattered after a tragic loss following the 9/11 attacks. Rizwan then sets out on a journey to meet the President of the United States and deliver a simple message: “My name is Khan, and I’m not a terrorist.”

As Rizwan travels across America, he faces prejudice, hatred, and discrimination while continuing to help the people he meets along the way. His journey becomes a powerful story about love, grief, humanity, and acceptance, showing how kindness can stand against hatred and division.
