13 years in this sport. And I finally get to hold this. 🏆 I’m so used to looking at photos of myself and finding something that needs improving. Looking at these, I want to give myself a moment before I start doing that again. I remember how badly I wanted to be in this position. The shows I left disappointed. Going home, questioning myself, then deciding to try again without knowing how it would end. Yesterday, I finally earned my IFBB Pro card. And today, I want to let myself be happy about it. Celebrate with my wife. Read your messages. Thank the people who believed in me through the preparations that didn’t end like this. I’m still figuring out what comes next. There are questions I was asking myself before this show that I don’t have all the answers to yet. But I don’t need to figure everything out today. Today, I’m proud of myself. And grateful I get to share this moment with my wife @paulina.smag 🥂
I’m Matis Mallie, the newest Gymshark Athlete🦈 Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. This all started as a dream, something that felt so far out of reach that I never thought I’d actually make it happen. But after years of training and creating content, here I am… a Gymshark Athlete 🥹 Not just a sponsored athlete, but a Gymshark Athlete. One of the highest honours within the brand. And I can finally say that I’m part of it wow. It’s crazy how fast everything can change. Just a year and a half ago, Gymshark reached out to sponsor me, and now, I’m officially becoming an Athlete. I want to thank every single one of you who’s been supporting me since day one. None of this would have been possible without you 🙏 Becoming a Gymshark Athlete isn’t the end goal of my journey in fitness and content creation. It’s just the beginning of a whole new chapter, a whole new adventure, and honestly, a whole new life. I’m incredibly proud to represent this brand, and I hope you guys enjoyed this short video. ❤️ MATIS10 on @Gymshark 🫶 #gymshark #gym #fitness #motivation #ad

"Veto." As the Democrats gain control of both the House of Representatives and Senate, Republican President Donald Trump has said he will veto any "insane" legislation they send to his desk. So, how powerful is the president's veto, and how does it work? Congress is responsible for passing federal bills and laws, which are then sent to the president for approval. But the president can veto legislation passed by both the House and Senate, sending the bill back to Congress with their objections. However, a presidential veto can be overridden if two-thirds of both the House and Senate vote to pass the legislation despite the president's objections. The president can also use a 'pocket veto'. If Congress adjourns during the president's 10-day review period and the president takes no action, the bill does not become law and Congress cannot override the veto. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio to read more about how the power shift in Congress could cause issues for the rest of Trump's presidency. (Getty, Truth Social) #USMidterms #USPolitics #BBCNews
