It is my mother's heavenly birthday. It's been a tender day.
Celebrating her life with memories and music. It's been 22 years since I hung out with my best friend. She was KIX!
I am so blessed to have had such an important person raising me! African American women are so DOPE, my goodness and she was. I saw it up close and personal. I was exposed to what we refer to as "BLACK GIRL MAGIC".
I miss you mommy.
