Sometimes the concert you need most isn’t the one you bought tickets for. ❤️🙏🏼

Last night, my beautiful friend Nora Greenwald (aka Molly Holly) and I were on our way to see @cecewinans in concert in Tampa, and were so excited to get lost in her music. But after an hour and a half in traffic, followed by another 30 minutes of driving around desperately trying to find parking, we looked at each other and decided to call it a night. 😂 The concert had already started, and we hadn’t even made it inside!

But here’s the beautiful part. Neither one of us were upset. Not even a little.

Why? Because the conversations we had in that car, both going there and coming back, was so profound, so rich, and so filled with love, wisdom, and faith that we realized we had already received exactly what our hearts needed that night.

And that’s TRUE friendship.

I’ve known Nora since our days in WWE, and from the moment she arrived, she was a bright light. Always encouraging. Always lifting others up. Always giving more than she took.

I’ll never forget a season in my life when I was struggling, and Nora reminded me that God was there for me. She would send me beautiful worship songs to lift my spirit and remind me of His love.

What she didn’t know was that she was planting seeds in my heart that would bloom YEARS later, when I rededicated my life to Christ, got rebaptized, and eventually became a worship leader myself. 🥹🙏🏼

Never underestimate the power of the seeds you plant in someone’s life.

And never underestimate the gift of a friendship where you can spend hours in a car, miss the entire event you were so excited about, and still drive home with a heart overflowing with gratitude.

We may have missed CeCe Winans last night, but God had a different kind of concert planned for us. One filled with conversation, connection, love, and His presence.

And somehow, it was exactly the concert we needed. ❤️

Love you, Nora. Thank you for being one of God’s beautiful gifts in my life, and so grateful we now live so close to each other that we get many more outings together.🙏🏼💕
