Still recovering from Monday night… and not just from the karaoke! 🎤😂🎶
I need to take a moment to say how incredibly PROUD and GRATEFUL I am to have been a producer of Raise Your Voice for Democracy: Celebrity Karaoke! What a night!!! We laughed, we sang (some of us better than others 😜), we danced, and most importantly, we raised some SERIOUS funds to help support the upcoming midterm elections! 💙🇺🇸
Where else can you see Lin-Manuel Miranda, Paul Rudd, and AJ McLean channel their inner Backstreet Boys, Jimmy Fallon channel Bowie, Will Forte go full Johnny Cash, Harvey Guillén unleash his inner Ursula, Rita Wilson bring some serious hip-hop swagger to “Hip Hop Hooray” alongside Lin-Manuel, Paul Rudd, and Anthony Anderson, and Paul Rudd and Adam Scott bring down the house with “Tequila”?! And that’s just scratching the surface of the 24 AMAZING performances!
A HUGE shoutout to my incredible collaborators and partners who helped pull off this wonderfully crazy night: @glenntv @slesin @lmatalonchicago @safe3161 @rescon @wdervish @dchengx @kpichardony @gitatiku @latinovictoryus. It takes a village… and apparently a village with a VERY good karaoke playlist! ❤️
And my deepest love, admiration, and gratitude to Hillary Clinton, @lin_manuel, @vegalteno, and Paul Rudd for their extraordinary leadership, generosity, and commitment to making a difference. You are the real rock stars! 🌟
To ALL the insanely talented artists, performers, and friends who showed up, grabbed a mic, and absolutely CRUSHED IT — THANK YOU! You brought the talent, the laughs, the heart, and a whole lot of fabulous chaos!
The energy and love in that room were OFF THE CHARTS. Now let’s take all that energy straight to the polls!
SING LOUD. SHOW UP. VOTE. 🎤🗳️💙
Swipe through for a little photographic evidence of what happens when democracy meets karaoke! 😂❤️
