Letter to my 13th year old self,

You made it Elisha!! You’re now 23 years old and a young adult. Maybe this wasn’t what you envisioned yourself to be at this age but you’re no longer the timid, quiet girl in class. You’re loud and proud now, echoing the whole room with your joy and laughter.

You wear whatever you want now, even if people think your style is weird or quirky but that makes you, YOU!! You stand up for yourself and others who couldn’t, you’re not scared to hold onto your values and beliefs now. You started travelling this year with your own money, you saw the world with the love of your life and want to continue doing that forever. You finally have friends who loves & cherish your presence, you no longer feel left behind. You are so lucky to have them around now.

I may not be what you think I’ll be at 23 but I’m sure you’ll still be proud and happy for me, most importantly is that the me now would’ve protect, love and guide you. You make mistakes but you know how to be better, you’re so strong and I would never be ashamed of you.

I love and accept you for the way you are, no one should ever make you feel small or sorry for being yourself, they ain’t paying your bills HAHA. Anyways, I love you lots and take care 🩷
