Europe Direct Luxembourg City

What does a resilient democracy mean to you?

This was the main question of the local citizens panel we got to host last Friday, together with @ue_luxembourg and @villededifferdange ✨

In an open discussion, our participants talked about democratic resilience, security & solidarity, online safety, youth, sport and culture and brainstormed about how we can “Protect What Matters”. 👏

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate! Your contributions will help shape local recommendations, which will be shared on the Citizens’ Engagement Platform and feed into the wider European Debate on Democratic Resilience 💙

These ideas will also be turned into a creative project in Differdange, where @kamellebuttek will create a participatory mural inspired by citizens voices’ 🎨
