Yeh Fitoor Tera (2026) / A Soulful and Intense Journey of Rebellion, Love, and Self-Discovery Yeh Fitoor Tera is a captivating Indian television romance drama airing on Star Plus. The narrative journeys deep into the vibrant, high-pressure world of a co-ed college in Prayagraj, centering on a shy, small-town girl and an emotionally turbulent, rebellious student as they navigate the clash between conservative family expectations and the wild, unpredictable storm of youthful passion. The serial is a touching, deeply intense, and emotionally charged exploration of healing from past trauma and the enduring power of unconditional love. Set against the historic backdrop of Prayagraj, it features beautifully timed romantic moments, tear-jerking family drama, and an iconic, soul-stirring background score. Propelled by a hauntingly poetic soundscape, it dissects the psychology of emotional vulnerability, youth rebellion, and the profound truth that true love requires the ultimate surrender of oneโ€™s ego. In 2016, I took home a dog named Isis. She was a pit bull being given away on the street by a guy who said heโ€™d been breeding her at his grandmotherโ€™s house and needed to get rid of her now that sheโ€™d had puppies. I had no idea how to raise a dog. I was broke, pretty aimless, and living in a three-bedroom apartment with four roommates. She was depressed because her puppies had been taken away too early, and she was terrified of other dogs, presumably because sheโ€™d been abused. On top of all that, she was named Isis, a sworn enemy of the United States. Before adopting her, Iโ€™d never really had to take care of anyone but myself. I was in my 20s, single, and probably pretty selfish. She was the first living thing Iโ€™d ever been responsible for, and having her changed my life. We grew up together in a way, and we had a really great life. For the last ten years, every time id arrive home, no matter how shitty a mood I was in, sheโ€™d lift her head and look at me with pure joy. It was such a simple thing, but it made me happier every single time. Iโ€™m going to miss that more than I can explain. One of the best things about dogs is how much they seem to enjoy being alive. They get so much happiness out of the smallest things, and they share that happiness with you. And when you see that joy start to disappear, itโ€™s heartbreaking. I guess thatโ€™s why those commercials are so sad. In March of this year, Icey was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder that almost killed her. She spent a long time in the animal hospital, and when I brought her back for a follow-up appointment, some of the staff started crying when they saw how much better she was doing. Theyโ€™d all worked so hard to save her, and it was incredibly moving to see how much they cared about her. At one point, I asked her neurologist, โ€œMedically speaking, Iโ€™d like you to be brutally honest, she is the best dog, right?โ€ โ€œShe really is the best dogโ€ yesterday we spent our last day together. I made her a steak and we went to the park. I honestly donโ€™t want to her to go, but I know itโ€™s her time. She was the best dog

Nobody brings flowers for the friend who slowly became a stranger, or for the house you had to hand the keys back to. Some of the heaviest goodbyes happen while everyone is still alive. You are allowed to mourn what changed and still be grateful you were there for it. I wrote a poetry book โ€˜Between Heaven & Earthโ€™ and itโ€™s out now Itโ€™s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If youโ€™d like to read it, comment โ€œbookโ€ and Iโ€™ll send you the link [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, grief, growing up, nostalgia, letting go, friendships change, missing old me, healing journey]
