SO MA TO is a traditional Japanese revolving lantern. As it turns, it projects subtle images of lotus flowers and shadow-like pictures into the space, evoking a dreamlike state of mystical and spiritual resonance.
In this creation, where New Butoh Dance meets Theatre, the images, sounds and bodies on stage replace language. A performance open to all audiences 🏮
