It’s GLAZE DAY!

I really thought I was going to LOVE this process and that it would be the easiest part of pottery. Yeah… I was quickly humbled.

I struggled. I had fun. I made a mess, cleaned it up, pouted a little, and inhaled what felt like an unreasonable amount of dust... carelessness of me

Now I’m just hoping I fall in love with these pieces after they’re fired because, honestly, I did NOT want bright red. But apparently, that’s what my heart chose.

I wanted something a little more extravagant, but the thought of double-dipping felt like too much, and I threw in the towel. Sometimes you have to know when to call it.

Pray for my little creations. May the kiln gods be in my favor.
