Spent an awesome day again here in Boone, North Carolina. Bunny and I had a great breakfast and then we went on a beautiful hike. It seems like it was five minutes ago that she was visiting us in Oklahoma and Houston. I was packing lunches for a summer day camp and driving her around. Today, she did all the driving, and I even dozed for a few minutes on the long ride to the mountain.

As I arrive in Brussels, the capital of Europe, to meet with its leaders, the criminal regime in Iran has murdered two more protesters from the January 8 and 9 protests. Amir Hossein Ebrahimi and Amir Hossein Maleki were put to death this morning, killed by the Islamic Republic, for the crime of wanting to be free.

I am in Brussels with a clear message: the era of appeasement must end. Appeasement means more dead, innocent Iranians. Now is the time for moral courage and strategic clarity. Now is time to help the Iranian people end this reign of terror.
