Malayshia Alford’s Foster Mother Charged With Murder After Girl Found in Trunk Blogged by: Grace L. Malayshia Alford, the 10-year-old Philadelphia foster child previously identified in police reports as Jalayshia Alford, is at the center of a murder case after her foster mother, Carprice Williams, was charged with murder, endangering the welfare of a child, and additional offenses, according to details from Thursday’s district attorney news conference. During the November 5 briefing, officials reportedly clarified that the little girl’s actual name was Malayshia, indicating that Jalayshia, the name widely circulated throughout the search, was incorrect. The announcement followed the discovery of Malayshia’s body inside the trunk of a vehicle in Lindenwold, New Jersey, after a search that lasted more than a week. Prosecutors also revealed that the medical examiner ruled Malayshia’s death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma. Investigators presented new details about the child’s final known movements, including surveillance evidence that allegedly shows her body being carried out of her foster home inside a bag on October 26. The disturbing findings have shifted the investigation from a missing child case to a homicide prosecution involving the woman entrusted with Malayshia’s care. According to investigators, Malayshia was last confirmed alive on Thursday, October 22, when surveillance footage captured her returning home from school. She reportedly did not attend school the following day. However, she was not reported missing until Monday, October 26. Williams allegedly told investigators that Malayshia had left her West Philadelphia residence that morning to catch her school bus but never returned. Investigators previously said they could not locate footage supporting that account. Instead, prosecutors reportedly described surveillance footage from October 26 showing what investigators believe was Malayshia’s body being removed from the residence inside a bag.
Progressive Democrat candidate Abdul El-Sayed has roasted US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance in his victory speech after becoming the nation’s first Muslim senator. El-Sayed won a US Senate seat in Michigan, defeating Republican Mike Rogers in one of the nation’s most important swing states. The son of Egyptian immigrants, El-Sayed took the stage on Tuesday local time, taking swipes at both Trump and Vance in his victory speech. #midterms #abdulelsayed #democract #trump #usa
The Lunch Story.. @utkarsha_naik took me for some Diwali shopping at Dadar (the obvious destination for all Mumbaikars! 😂), and then insisted we stop at a restaurant called “Fish Curry Rice”. Now, imagine taking a pure vegetarian to a place with THAT name! 😂 I was a little sceptical, but turns out, she knew exactly what she was doing! While Utkarsha ma’am enjoyed her favourite fish, @mallika453 (also a pure vegetarian) and I had an absolutely delicious vegetarian feast. Who knew Fish Curry Rice would win over two vegetarians too! ❤️ Good food, great company and a lovely afternoon! ✨ @fishcurryrice.mumbai ♥️👏🏻
