Harris has for years told us religion distorts or supplants logical thought, especially Christianity in the U.S.. He wrote a freaking book about it. Recently, a Texas town wanted to use their budget to fix roads, but their budget already earmarked money to send to Israel. Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas threatened to pull their funds if they chose to spend their taxes on fixing stuff instead of supporting Israel. It is becoming real weird how obvious the blinders that ATHEIST Sam Harris has for the actions of Jews in Israel and their relationship with the U.S. and his desperation to label it as antisemitism.

I’m always amused to hear a self proclaimed atheist hang on and defend his religion. I got a kick to hear him talk about “shapeshifting” in the reciprocal context too. It’s hard to let go of that “god’s favorite humans” status once you’ve used to it. The problem is religion. The disaster is supremacism.
