Ever wondered how an Airbus comes to life? ✈️💙
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit the Airbus factory in Hamburg-Finkenwerder with @jungevc VC and @jungedag_yatagermany
From exploring the history of Airbus to getting a behind-the-scenes look at the production process — what an incredible experience!
✈️ A few things I learned:
• Over 1,000 suppliers are involved in the production process.
• Up to 60 aircraft from the A320 family can be produced per month.
• Before delivery, each aircraft undergoes an acceptance process, including a flight where the customer checks whether the aircraft meets the required standards.
As a future pilot, I found the acceptance flights particularly fascinating. Imagine being the one who gets to test a brand-new aircraft before it enters service! 🥹✈️
