one spring day in southern Italy.
Coffee and a spritz first, at Caffรจ Ronchi Striccoli, the historic cafรฉ tucked under the arch of Altamura Cathedral. Then Matera: no plan, no poses, just the two of them getting lost among the Sassi.
We filmed it the way memory works. Super 8, an old MiniDV camcorder, vintage manual lenses. Nothing too sharp, nothing too defined. And in 4:3, the shape memories used to have.
"If people manage to become better, it's because they love."
