Today I have 2,597 days sober. Here’s my story,,, My name is David Thomas. I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. I’m 36 years old and I’ve been sober since 12/28/2016. My DOC ❄️. I grew up with an amazing family but my dad started using and left his wife and 4 kids. By high school I was using everything. At 20 years old I was introduced to IV. Jail, sober livings, rehab, felonies and probation, nothing could keep me sober. In 2016 I started dating who is now my wife. She was in drvg court in Orange County. After almost making her violate her terms of probation, I chose us over substances and went to rehab. We got married Feb 2017. I’m now a certified personal trainer and an online fitness and nutrition coach and we have our own faith based sober clothing company @chosensociety_ We have 3 kids and are living our best lives.
