Nothing in life is forever. And maybe that’s what makes it so precious. Everything we have is only ours for a little while. The moments, the places, even the people we love. Some people stay longer, others are only part of a small chapter of our story. And sometimes letting go is so hard, even when we know it’s time. But I’m learning to accept life as it comes. To be grateful for what I have today, to hold on to beautiful memories, and to let go of what is no longer meant to stay. Because life isn’t about keeping everything forever. It’s about appreciating everything while it’s here. 📸 Photography by the talented Jan @jan_de_vries_photography 🤍
A UTI can become much more than a urinary problem for older women. On unPAUSED, we discuss how these infections can become serious and potentially lead to sepsis. We also explore a possible connection between infection-related confusion, falls, and hip fractures. A woman who becomes confused, tries to get out of bed to use the bathroom, and falls may be facing more than one health crisis at once. It’s a conversation that shows why urinary health deserves more attention as women age. ✨Comment POD and I’ll send you the link to the full conversation. #menopause #urinaryhealth #womenshealth #healthcare #uti

40,000 OF YOU!!! 😭🎂🖤 I don’t even know where to begin!! 10 months ago, I started this account with ZERO followers, a big goal (that seemed rather crazy at the time), and absolutely no idea how much my life was about to change. I was 39, raising two little girls, working a career I’d been in for 15 years, and wondering if I could actually build something of my own. And here we are. 🥹 40 years old. 40,000 followers. And I somehow turned something I started in the middle of motherhood into my full-time career. But can I tell you what has meant the MOST to me?! The women I’ve met along the way. The friendships, the conversations, the messages from women who decided to go after something because they watched me do it first. THAT is the part I never saw coming. 🥹 To every single one of you who has followed along, left a comment, shared a reel, sent me a message, or cheered me on along the way, THANK YOU!!! I hope this is your reminder that you’re not too old, too busy, or too late to start something new. And for those of you who have been asking how I grew this account from zero, I put everything I learned into The Momentum Method! Just comment METHOD and I’ll send it your way. 🖤 And if you’re new here, HIIII!! I’m so happy you’re here!! Here’s to 40K and everything that’s still ahead 🙌🏼 Pull up a chair. You belong here. 🖤 @thatmodernlife 🖤 @thatmodernlife 🖤 @thatmodernlife #iggrowth #StartingOver #MillennialMoms #ContentCreatorJourney #WomenSupportingWomen
