so this has been one ..pardon my French one FUCK of a day - some of it was wonderful tricking a cat to come into the house, have Seth Tucker sort of make out with my left hand in rehearsal, ———But, then to come home and at 2pm found out my best friend of the last 46 years had passed away 30 minute before. We had been texting literally an hour and half before that. We knew it was coming, just not this soon. Life was not fair he WAS a contender......Fiesty, cantankerous , smart. eclectic and VERY opinionated. We meet doing a silly childrens show at ASU in 1981(?) and discovered we both loved the art of whoring it up on stage. Through his directing class he proceeded to show the ASU acting professors that I was not a talenless, 125lb. geek, but could wear a candy stripers uniform or run around with a balloon hanging out of the fly in my pants with the best of then-SCREW you ASU. My S.T.A.U.N.C.H.E.S.T supporter for my talents and secret whisperer of suggestions of some of my best laughs.see further comment added..

he guy who lead me around New York the first couple of times when I there so I didn't cry in the subway and let me sleep on his bedroom floor so I wouldn't have to pay for a hotel. A two phone convesation about nothing was better than therapy. Apprecitator of the Opera, Musicals, Art and some of the weirdest shit bands you'll ever come across. Then has the balls to tell you how fucked many of YOUR favortie things are. .....I helped pack up up and move him to my house when he lost his. I packed him up and moved him into assited living when it was time.. he'd have done the same for me in a heart beat. .You'll never know what a friend truly thinks about you until you spend time with other of their life long friends and they tell you and it's all absolutely just golden, wonder, supportive stuff...- 46 freaking years and even when we would barely be speaking to each other that bond was always there..I've never met anyone who know more about the ARTS and food than Ken did. ..So today I made my way to one of our two favorite hang outs where we would meet, catch up, bitch each other out and tighten up that friendship sushi roll over sushi roll..and I thanked them for being around to let us do that.. who am I gonna text or call with for 2-3 hours about absolutely nothing..? Yikker
