AAAAH a little birthday post with Qifrey! When I was thinking about what cosplay to post on my birthday, I immediately knew it had to Qifrey :3 this build has been my pride and joy for a majority of this year, and I'm still obsessed with this shoot Allison and I did for him during the summer! ♥️ for my birthday post, I also wanted to post something a little more profound, maybe about lessons I've learned over the last year. I think by far the biggest one I've leaned into throughout the past year is to truly question why you're doing something. The answer could be as simple as "doing this thing makes me happy" or as complex as "doing this thing is a step in a long-term goal I have". Questioning why I'm doing what I'm doing as a part of my everyday life, but specifically for my hobbies, has been super valuable. I find myself with a less and less time throughout the day… So when I do have time to lean into my hobbies, it needs to be something that will fill up my cup creatively! Whenever times get tough, I always ask myself why I'm doing something. It helps me level set and feel less pressure about certain things, both in and outside of my hobbies, but also reminds me what my motivations are and helps me find my passion again, should I lose my grip on it. Reading witch hat has contributed to this mindset soooo so much, so I'm grateful to have been exposed to this media within just the past year! :3
