A victory for childhood in Pennsylvania! 🎉

Governor Josh Shapiro has signed bipartisan legislation establishing bell-to-bell phone-free schools, giving students more time to learn, build friendships, and connect with the world around them.

Beginning in the 2027–2028 school year, students’ phones will be put away throughout the school day — including lunch and recess — with exceptions for medical needs and required educational accommodations.
