QOTD: What are you trying to read before the end of the year?

I'm laughing at myself because these are high goals indeed especially when I mostly read audiobooks on Libby right now. But it's good to set goals. Right? RIGHT?! It would be great to get through all of these books before the end of the year, but I've been distracted by reading all my highly anticipated books that have been released recently. They're like sparkly items and I get distracted by sparkly things. Let me know if I should prioritize any of these!

I have 9 books that I pre-ordered this year and haven’t read yet (whenever I preorder, the book gets added as a task on my calendar - I had a few too many, β€œsurprise, 3 books you wanted came out today” moments before I started doing this vs now I know ahead of time). I try to mostly read preorders the same year they were published since if I was excited enough about them to preorder, then I should read them the year they came out (some leeway for books that came out in November or December). Also, picked up so many books on sales for spooky season that I didn’t get to so would like to catch up on a few of those!
