The internal intra-team rivalry at Scuderia Ferrari erupted dramatically at the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix, where polesitter Lewis Hamilton and teammate Charles Leclerc clashed on the very first lap. Battling fiercely into Turn 4, Leclerc lunged around the outside, causing both cars to run wide; Leclerc cut across the grass to take the lead, while Hamilton lost momentum and dropped behind Max Verstappen. Though the stewards issued a five-second penalty to Leclerc for gaining an advantage off-track, the resulting fragmentation cost Ferrari a potential 1-2 finish and essentially handed the race victory to Verstappen. Tensions simmered throughout the afternoon, and despite a late-race red flag restart where Hamilton successfully overtook Leclerc to salvage a second-place finish, an irritated Hamilton publicly called for “serious talks” behind the scenes regarding their racing rules.

An 18-year-old youth allegedly went on a dangerous driving spree in Kerala's Kottayam district, ramming his rented Toyota Innova into more than a dozen vehicles.

According to reports, the accused drove nearly 8 km from Thiruvalla towards Changanassery on November 3. During the rampage, he allegedly hit several vehicles, including a scooter ridden by a 21-year-old woman, who suffered serious injuries.

Even after one of the SUV's tyres burst, the driver reportedly continued driving, with sparks flying as the damaged tyre scraped against the road.

Angry residents chased the vehicle and eventually intercepted it before handing the driver over to the police.

Police suspect that the accused may have been under the influence of alcohol or narcotic substances. However, the suspicion was yet to be confirmed through medical tests.

Further investigation is underway.
