Nisha and Korra are Kiki and Aang and Pavi are Bouba and that's as far as the similarity goes

This all started with Wan separating Vaatu and Raava. Raava didn't even really like humans to begin with. This started with wan’s mistake of separating them and Raava and him sealing Vaatu away for so long. I believe Pavi and Nisha will realize this, and that order and chaos, light and dark need each other. When Raava and Vaatu fought caused destruction around them so the twins must unite to save the world. Raava locked away Vaatu, creating just as much dissent as if Vaatu were to lock away Raava. Thats why each avatar struggles between the spirit world and the human world. In every incarnation the avatar has not realized fully you need both in order to bring true balance in their lifetime. That's why no avatar has succeeded their journey and keeps reincarnating to learn the same lesson, like the religion it's based off. You keep reincarnating until you learn the lesson your soul needs to understand. You need both light and dark, yin and yang. Like Iroh said If you look for the light you can often find it, if you look for the dark that is all you will ever see. We need both, I think that's also why there's two avatars to represent this. They will learn accept their darkness and look for the light. The twins must unite to save the world.

The comments about this show have exposed cultural spelling lapses I’ve never seen in my life

But they do parallel animation sequences for the two lol. Like Korra’s mind-f scene where it zooms in and her forehead and eyes kinda widen, the exact same experience happened to Nisha. Pavi and Aang make the exact same expressions when it comes to fear. I think it’s kind of ridiculous that the creators straight up deny doing this on purpose when that’s kind of the only way you can do this lol There are more parallels as well between them. Pavi doing the typical airbender sequence where she falls in a goofy manner just how Aang does in his title sequence. The list goes on
