Two Bengaluru designers, Nishita Parmar and Vedanti Agarwal, are rethinking how urban spaces can serve people better. Through their work with Compartment S4, they are making streets more pedestrian-friendly and finding new uses for neglected spaces.

Their Pause Park project beneath Shivananda Flyover brings together swings, seating, greenery and art, showing how overlooked city spaces can become places for people to gather and unwind.
