Meet Ivan, Head of HSG ETH Student Project House 👋
After nearly six years as an Innovation Catalyst at ETH Student Project House in Zurich, Ivan Hanselmann is bringing his experience in student coaching, innovation and organisational development to St. Gallen.
With a background in business administration, entrepreneurship and angel investment, Ivan is passionate about creating environments where people learn by doing, experiment freely and turn ideas into action.
His vision for HSG ETH SPH is to build a community shaped by students themselves. For Ivan, that starts with a simple principle: talk with students, not about them. Whether they come from HSG, ETH Zurich or another university, he wants everyone who is eager to contribute to feel welcome.
He’s also excited to strengthen the connection between the Zurich and St. Gallen ecosystems, creating opportunities for people, ideas and communities to learn from one another. And his ambition goes beyond one location: he hopes that what is developed in St. Gallen can inspire other universities and communities in the future.
Outside SPH, Ivan enjoys spending time with his family, dancing, gaming, watching anime and going to the gym. He also has a keen interest in financial literacy, investing and markets.
Welcome to this new chapter, Ivan!
