Well, if I’ve learned anything in 2026, it’s that I love the game of golf. I love the process of getting better. I love pursuing the best version of myself everyday. And I love the relationships I’ve built. I wouldn’t trade any of it for a second.
Sure, I may have fallen just short of accomplishing a dream, but I don’t feel like the outcome was a failure or any sort of setback at all. In fact, I came to the realization that the year as a whole was a success. I saw myself compete under pressure much better than I have in the past, and I started to truly enjoy the feeling of being in contention. I started to see challenges as opportunities to grow rather than to fail. I improved as a competitor and gave it my all, and that’s all I can ask of myself. The rest was, and always will be, up to God. In a year of growth, I can confidently say that my relationship with Jesus is stronger than ever, and I truly believe it is why I was able to handle the way it all shook out. Proverbs 21:31
Being able to chase this dream is a blessing that I will forever be thankful for. I’m so grateful for my family, team, and sponsors for believing in me through the ups and the downs of not only this season but the ones leading up to it as well. Oh, and
@erniegiapapas is the 🐐.
I am more motivated than ever to put my head down this offseason.
2027 can’t come fast enough!
